about

This one is special because it was the last song written when were still a very unknown band named Deafmute. I wanted to pay homage to that chapter and the people who took part in it by finishing what we had started. Head to Spotify and check it out!

lyrics

The one you are
The voice that’s lost
A tone deaf boy
Adopts the cost
Shut the door again
whisper through your grin
Static voices turn
silent crowding lurks

But I’ll be
damned if we pretend that we
Could never hold our own
(This life)
(This word)
(This unbelievable terror)
Never to return

You Drive the fear
And Plant the flag
Now I am your king
The will that gains
No constraints left
The Hurd will never know

Removed again
unrivaled tension
conspiring breaths
have queued the scene
drowning rows
These white capped waters
While Miles of crowns
Line the alters

But I’ll be
damned if we pretend that we
Could never hold our own
(This life)
(This word)
(A new world humming forward)
All or nothing

Are we the same
The fury and the pain

So stand
Stand for the whole
Stand for the sound
Can you hear the through the roar
Dig through the earth
Hold up the ground
This world was made for more

Where
do we find
the will to bring
End to this night

(Sleep)
(Stil)
(Burn)
(Kill)

All over again
This means to an end
It’s out of his hands
You carried the torch
Now it’s over
Overthrow
Overthrow
Overthrow
Overthrow

about

Tzarina Brooklyn, New York

Tzarina’s sound reflects a quarantined world gnawing for release

For singer/guitarist Craig William, drawing lyrical and musical inspiration from old Russian tales and folklore was merely a vehicle for getting to the heart of something much more personal. A project that had been weighing on him artistically finally found its path in 2020. ... more
